Pedicure Passion
Spring brings so much life with it - flowers, new babies, sunny days providing necessary nutrients, April showers to help everything green grow... and last but not least, freedom from closed toe shoes! Bring out the sandals and the nail polish bottle. Better yet, head to the nearest salon for a refreshing pedicure and celebrate! I have had only a handful of them in my lifetime but I prefer them to manicures. Beautiful toes are just fascinating when sporting sandals or flip flops on a sandy beach. Pedicures last a lot longer too. Pedicures are truly a treat because it is difficult to bend over to get to them and to get in the right positions to properly trim, file and polish the toe nails. Manicures, on the other hand (pardon the pun), are easier to do on your own, don't last as long and you need to have them on a regular basis to keep them looking great. Since pedicures cost more than manicures, it is a good thing they are worth every penny in the time and effort saved over getting a manicure. Funny, I've had more manicures than pedicures after all that. |
